Blogapalooza

I think...gulp...I think that I am back. My guilt has taken over and I feel such a tremendous urge to jump back on the band wagon. My posterity deserves it. So over the next handful of posts I am going to quickly recap our life, as we know it. I must start back all the way back in October. My mom was here for a couple of weeks spending glorious time with us and keeping us company. Now the reason that I decided to start back then was simply for the grandest holiday...HALLOWEEN. My girls were super lucky this year because Grandma Rawson a.k.a Creative Costume Creator, was in town. She helped fulfill every wish and desire that my girls had. Madeleine was Ariel, and Elisabeth was of course, Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty. Maleficent is hands down her most favorite character. I guess there are not enough kids in the entire world her age who voluntarily choose to be Maleficent for Halloween. There were absolutely no costumes for sale in stores, or on the Internet for Maleficent in her size. Have no fear Grandma Rawson was here. With a twist of her wand, and mad skills she created the most Wonderful costume that I have ever seen. Elisabeth looked FANTASTIC. I mean when she was fully costumed and make on there were many a jaws that dropped, including mine. (Geez next year there will be complete disappointment in the air as I am positive that I will never be able to live up to the G. Ma Rawson standard.) Sorry kids! Cute Victoria was an adorable recycled Butterfly from Elisabeth.Time was spent well while she was here.

October was filled with many trips to yummylicious Cider Mills, Greenfield Village, freezing cold soccer games and practices, fantastic school events, a trip to Canada (yay...we all have our passports! Boo...it sure cost a pretty penny to do so!), and some wonderful time spent together as a family.
